Geography

This section helps identify the location where a plant, animal or landscape described in an article was observed.  A map or illustration is provided for greater clarity.

A location could range from the place that one lives or works in or another place where it is easy to observe nature in an enduring way such as a national park.   A view of the world from one's window, be it a city or a rustic setting, is likely to be an environment that one is able to exert the greatest influence on for preservation of nature.  On the other hand a government designated national park, sanctuary or nature reserve is perhaps the largest, most organized, protected region in which nature reigns supreme.  National policy more than individual say will direct on conservation on this land.
